What is fika? ☕
Fika (say "fee-ka") is the Swedish coffee break, but it's more than coffee. It means stopping whatever you're doing to sit down with someone, usually with a coffee and something sweet like a kanelbulle, and just talk.
For Swedes it's a daily ritual. Many workplaces stop for fika every morning and afternoon, and it's never rushed or taken on the go. The whole point is slowing down and making time for each other.
